I am a wife, mother, grandmother, author, businesswoman, friend, and lecturer. I consider April 23, 1997 the first day of the rest of my life because that is the day I decided to change my lifestyle in order to clear up some health conditions that had been troubling me…..including a 25 pound weight gain.
The correlation between good nutrition and a corresponding change in other aspects of my life have all added up to a 72 year old person in good health, with good energy, ability to sleep extremely well, no more dependence on all those over-the-counter medications, and best of all I can still wear a size 6! I attribute all of the above to not only good nutrition, but a good healthy lifestyle including what I drink, how I exercise, how I handle stress. And you know what, it is all so easy and so basic, and this is what I talk about in my book.
I feel that if I can do this at my age, then anyone at any age can and probably should follow what I do.
